Rally car driver rolls his car down a 500 foot cliff [video]
I love rally racing. I have a halfway rally car… it’s doesn’t have all wheel drive, but my next car will. This one is my tricycle until that point.
In this video driver Jari-Matti Latvala is racing in Portugal and goes slightly off road on the inside of a turn, up the side of a hill. His car rolls into the outside of the turn and over the guardrail. The car tumbles like a Matchbox toy at 150mph down the 500 foot cliff before coming to a stop into a tree. He and the co-driver both survived.
The video has handheld footage of the accident and a dashboard mounted camera angle.
