A business group in Lugazi, Uganda presumably prays over cash that I— and a few other micro-lenders— loaned and pre-disbursed through a microfinance institution in late December.
If they’re not praying, this is the most stoic business meeting I’ve ever seen. It’s a great photo and keeps me inspired to continue lending to real people with real business models.
