So let’s say, hypothetically, that a big parcel of waterfront land I really like was bought by a foreign condo developer. And I hypothetically researched that land and found all kinds of speculation that prehistoric people once lived there. And hypothetically I researched more obscure journals and found that maybe in the 1930s some skeletons were exumed but the details weren’t published until 15 years later.
Then today I hypothetically drove in search of that book and when I found it I hypothetically discovered actual pictures from the 30s of the skeletons buried in fetal position. And also that the site is home to Indian cemeteries AND Indian burial mounds where hundreds of bodies were taken but hypothetically thousands more still exist in the soil. Would this condo developer have a hypothetical problem building or selling their half million dollar condos further than the point of a mere hypothetical concept?
I think so.
