It’s normal to not see any alligators between October and February, but it’s been so unusually warm that this monster was spotted on a Christmas hike.  There was a slightly smaller one that dipped into the water, and they were both very active.  Fattest gator I’ve ever seen in the wild.  Scale: six or eight of me bundled together and over twelve feet long.  The other holes are old alligator dens.
